We have varying appointments available with the clinical team from Monday to Friday at Willaston Surgery. We have 3 GPs, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs and a supporting administration team who can signpost you to book in with the most appropriate team member.
We offer both face to face appointments and telephone appointments depending on the clinician you book in with.
Please be aware that if you book a phone call with a GP, this could be at any point throughout the day, not necessarily at the time slot you have booked onto.
We offer online appointment booking for GPs where availability allows and we are going to be using 'Self-Book' links more in the near future for various appointments.
Please do not hesitate to contact the surgery if you have any difficulty booking in through these links.
We also have appointments available for Nurses, HCAs and GPs based at Neston Surgery on a Wednesday evening and Neston Medical Centre on a Saturday morning. Please contact the surgery for further information or to book these appointments.
These will be undertaken where a patient is too ill or too infirm to visit the Practice. Requests for home visits should be made whenever possible before 10.30am. You can request a GP of choice but unfortunately we cannot guarentee they will be available. A GP will visit you between the hours of 12.00pm and 15.00pm. Please be aware the GP will attend wearing PPE due to safety measures following the covid-19 pandemic
If you require a Med3 from the GP surgery and it is not an extension of a current note, you will need a consultation with a GP.
If you are requesting a repeat sick note, please email the surgery with the extension dates required and this will be sent to you via text message once actioned by a GP. During busy periods, this request can take up to 1 week to be actioned.
If you require a printed Med3 rather than the text link, please make this clear on your email request.
