Normally, results will be available at the surgery within the following number of days and we ask that you call in personally or telephone for them after 2.00pm. Please note there is NO NEED to arrange a GP appointment to get your results, if the GP needs to see you, they will ask reception to arrange this and you will be informed when you contact us to get your results.

Please leave specimens at reception before 12 noon with a completed form or slip given from reception. You must include detail of symptoms to allow us to treat accordingly. Please note if you are female aged between 16 and 65years and have symptoms of a Urinary tract infection you can go to your local pharacy where they can now treat this with antibiotics. There is no need to make a GP appointment for these symptoms, simpley leave in a urine sample and the nurse will dip the sample, send it off to the lab if necessary and can issue antibiotics for you to collect.Please ring the surgery after 2pm to find out if a precription has been issued for you.
