We have been notified to expect arrival of vaccines within the next 2 weeks. Once we have them on site we will update via social media, this website and of course send text alerts to patients. We will not send letters in the first instance as clinics tend to book up very quickly, however, if anyone is due to have a flu vaccination and hasn’t attended by the end of October we will then write to those remaining. The clinics will operate very differently this year and we have strict measures in place due to COVID-19 and this is beyond our control.
There will be cones and tape in the car park to operate 2 queuing systems, one queue at the back to go to room 1 and the other at the front to go to Room 2. We will have a staff member on hand to direct you. You will not need to use a self check in, just give your name when you are sent through to the clinician. It is important that you refrain from touching anything inside the building and are in for as little time as possible. Face coverings are mandatory in the building. Can we also ask that you adhere to social distancing measures when queuing outside. Please follow the below information on the day:
• Don’t arrive before appt time
• Wear short sleeves if possible and be ready before entering building (remove coat/jumper)
• No Parking in car park so arrange to be dropped off or walk (carpark needed to operate queuing systems)
• If raining please have umbrella to keep yourself dry
• Flu vaccines only – nothing else on the day
• Don’t touch anything, just enter and leave where possible
We thank everyone for their ongoing understanding and patience, we appreciate how difficult this will be so please lets all try to work together and make things run as smoothly as possible.
Thank you
